Among the hills of the Langhe and Roero, between one row of vines and the next, small shelters can still be found: modest, essential structures, almost blending into the vineyards. These are the ciabots, small buildings, often made of stone or brick, simple in form yet rich in purpose and presence. They once served as a point of reference for the vineyard worker, a personal retreat where tools were stored, a moment of rest was taken, or the sky was watched to sense how the day might unfold. The ciabot was a place where work turned into waiting, observation and connection with the vineyard. Perhaps this is why it represents us so well: it tells a deeply authentic way of living the land, shaped by presence and care.

Today, these small structures have become the symbol of our identity: discreet, rooted, always in dialogue with the hills. A name that encapsulates the essence, identity and history of a territory.

OUR WINERY

From the Langhe and Roero, wines that speak of land and vision

Ciabot is located in Farigliano, Piedmont, with vineyards stretching from the Dogliani area to the Roero hills. Its range includes the region's main appellations, with selected wines that highlight the local winemaking heritage.

All winemaking activities take place in Farigliano, in a modern, well-equipped winery where ideas and projects are developed while preserving traditional practices.

A continuous dialogue between past and present allows us to offer a complete portfolio, from wines inspired by long-standing traditions and oak aging savoir-faire to more contemporary white vinifications, where freshness and mineral precision come to the fore.

We cultivate native grape varieties, among the most important of which are Dolcetto, Barbera, Grignolino, Nebbiolo, Arneis, Favorita, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Moscato, all bearing DOC or DOCG designation. Over the years, we have specialized in the HoReCa sector and are investing energy and resources into international markets.

SUPERPIEDMONT

The natural evolution of Piedmont to be enjoyed in a glass

Superpiedmont is a winemaking project born in 2021 that tells the story of a Piedmont in evolution, a region capable of preserving its identity while embracing the future. From the hills between Farigliano, Doglianese, and Roero, Superpiedmont wines take shape as a bold and affectionate tribute to the Langhe, bringing together memory and experimentation.

The idea is to use blending as a language: native grape varieties such as Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo engage in dialogue with international varieties like Cabernet, Merlot, and Pinot Noir to create dynamic, vibrant, and refined wines, without betraying tradition but rather enhancing it. Inspired by the same freedom as the Super Tuscans, these wines aim to express authenticity, contemporaneity, and respect for the land, transforming every bottle into a new story of Piedmont.
